Repairs
When an instrument is played – and it should be played! – small accidents can unfortunately happen. Regardless of whether the damage is purely aesthetic or if it is also audible, an expert repair is crucial to retaining the value, sound and flawless functioning of the instrument.
In my studio, I carry out all repair work personally. Repairs range from service work like dressing the fingerboard, professional cleaning of the instrument, glueing of cracks or cutting of a new bridge, right up to extensive repairs such as making a neckgraft, arching corrections with casts from different modern materials, wood transplants, etc. All bow repairs are also done by myself.
I will gladly give you an estimate for repair work – please note however, that I do have to inspect the instrument in person at my workshop.
