Violin “Johann Bader, Geigen- und Lautenmacher in Mittenwald (Bayern) 1922.”
This violin by Johann Evangelist Bader (1876 – 1930) comes from a collection. is in a pristine state of conservation and sounds great.
Bader worked in Karlsruhe, Würzburg, Koblenz and München and returned to Mittenwald in 1901, were he taught in the Mittenwald school of violinmaking from 1910 until 1914. He was awarded medals for his instruments (Nürnberg 1906 und München 1927).
