7/8 cello Grancino
This cello is based on the model of a cello made by Giovanni Grancino, Milano anno 1695. The original instrument is a 7/8 cello, with the actual string length being about 3 cm shorter than on a 4/4 cello. Thus it is very comfortable for cellists with delicate hands to play. The one-piece back and ribs made from willow are unique features of this instrument. This cello has a very full, broad, warm, and powerfull sound.
